Ille-et-Vilaine : un réseau de cambrioleurs géorgiens démantelé par les gendarmes

Un réseau de cambrioleurs géorgiens a été démantelé en Ille et Vilaine précise dans un communiqué Philippe Astruc le procureur de la République de Rennes. Les vols étaient commis dans des résidences principales, d'ailleurs depuis septembre 2019 une recrudescence de ces cambriolages, de jour comme de nuit, a été constatée. Un groupe d'enquête, composé des brigades de recherche de Rennes, Vitré, Redon et Montfort-sur-Meu, a été mis en place par la gendarmerie nationale.
Six arrestations et des condamnations
"Les surveillances réalisées ont permis d’identifier six ressortissants géorgiens hébergés sur la commune du Rheu (près de Rennes). Le travail de recoupement, les exploitations téléphoniques et les opérations de criminalistique ont permis de leur imputer plus d’une vingtaine de cambriolages commis entre septembre et novembre 2019" explique le procureur. En début de semaine deux cambrioleurs ont été localisés à Nîmes. Ce sont en tout six personnes qui ont été interpellées au Rheu et à Nimes . Les cambrioleurs ont été condamnés ce vendredi à des peines de 2 à 5 ans de prison et à une interdiction définitive du territoire national. Ils sont écroués.
Les perquisitions ont permis la découverte de nombreux objets provenant de vols par effraction dans des résidences.
